For a decade Scotland Re:Designed has been at the pinnacle of showcasing contemporary Scottish design to the rest of the world.
I have had the pleasure of watching SR:D champion some of Scotland's most beloved designers, models, photographers, make-up artists, interiors, artisans, stylists, writers and venues.
It has been a beautiful journey to watch and contribute to. I have art directed, written and styled for SR:D, fallen in love with the people we showcased and made life long friends, never imagining that one day I'd be putting my own product down its iconic runway. Until this year.
The patriarch of this eclectic party is SR:D's founder Chris Hunt - a man who would remove the sequin shirt off his back to help a fashion friend in need.
Racking up 138 exhibitors over 19 events, SR:D has popped up everywhere from Paris to New York screaming about the talent that Scotland has to offer. Chris and his team are a force to be reckoned with pulling off beautifully curated events that make each exhibitor shine.
So I bundled up the capsule collection and shuttled it along the central belt to sit alongside some of the most incredible designers de jour and watch it sashay down the runway.
It was pretty emotional. My little cashmere concept, all monochrome and unisex in nature, alive on the runway.
